Rocketvox "Everything" Service at CTIA, Great Branding, Few Details
The idea of conglomerating all our means of communications into one location is nothing new--it's essentially the idea behind the Star Trek communicator. Rocketvox is aiming to put your email, voicemail, VoIP, texting, social networking, twitter, calendars, conference calls... pretty much your everything into one convenient location accessible from any computer or smartphone. Sound ambitious? Well, it is. We have details and photos of the service after the jump. As far as combining social networks, email and twitter-ey status updates, you can probably imagine about what that would look like:

Rocketvox is harder to conceptualize when we think of text messages, voice mail, telephone calls and video chat. But, apparently, it's all built right in to the interface. Rocketvox provides you with a single phone number for all of your needs (even for old school faxing). You can decide, based on call origin, whether you'd like to take a call on your cell, virtual Rocketvox phone, home phone, or any other phone.
One feature that strikes me as somewhat interesting given that I have a nasal voice computers can't seem to understand, is the voice transcription service provided by Rocketvox--voice messages left for you are transcribed into text that is delivered as either SMS or email. Pretty cool, in theory. Hopefully the service won't result in udcrear tess mezzadzis.
As far as pricing goes, a basic version of Rocketvox will be available for free. Premium services will run $9.95 - $24.95 per month.
